Katō District
Katō (河東郡 Katō-gun) is a district in Tokachi Subprefecture. It occupies an area in the central northern part of the subprefecture and includes a large urban area adjacent to the city of Obihiro.
In 2006, the district had a population of 61,831. The total area is 1,826 km².
